Things I will need to do to complete this Learning Objective -Site map -Visualisation diagram -Prototype on XD -Sketched diagrams  Site map  This is my site map and each it shows each page that users will be able to access on the app. In this I have shown how users will be able to interact with the features and how each subpage will flow and navigate.  Below is also the link to the webpage that contains my Site map if you want to have a better look at it all together, as it is too large to see all together.  https://www.gloomaps.com/mxDQDrHCZf LO5: Prototype and wireframe designs  LO5: Presentation LO5: Video presentation   LO5: Feedback Anne Doncaster The main feedback I gathered from her comments was that I needed to include networking features, in the form of messages and group chats, into my app that could allow communication between users. This would allow users to work together to form user generated content together. By doing this, I will make my app...

Lo4 Proposal for technological app

PRODUCT IDEA   The idea that I have thought about is a music streaming service that will link to different music streaming services such as Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube music. The app will feature music editing software such as equalisers , and reverb effects that users will be able to use to edit their music to their tasting. Along with this, the app will notify users when artists drop new music, and it will also recommend artist and upcoming releasing from artist the user likes.  The app will also give the user the ability to add friends and other people who use the app. They will be communication features and it will show the user what song their friend is listening to and the streaming service they are using. The app will utilise Web 2.0 and 3.0 features to recommend users music from certain artists, and allow them to interact with them.    CONVERGING SECTORS – NEEDS TO BE TWO OR MORE (E.G. COMPUTING AND TELECOMS, SOCIAL MEDIA AND TV,...

Lo4: Be able to create a proposal using converging technologies to exploit the identified new markets

The app will be available on multiple devices and platforms as both an app and website, this is to ensure that anyone can access the app whether on the go or at home. The application will be similar to music streaming services such as SoundCloud and Spotify in which users can create an account and add song and playlists to their profile. Our service will be similar to SoundCloud in that, users will not need to use distribution services such as Distrokid or Tune-core. Prosumers who want to share their content will be able to upload it directly onto our app. However, they will only get a certain number of uploads until they have to pay for the premium service.  The app will be available on Apple, Windows, Linux, and Android products, this will be done so that our product can reach a large amount of our target audience. The app will be free to download but users will be able to buy a premium subscription that will give users more access to certain features, and also get rid of adverti...

Lo3 report: Be able to illustrate how the legal, ethical, social and moral issues are considered within the product proposal

My idea for a product is a new music streaming services that also lets users edit their music and even create music. It will let users have full creative control over the music they listen to and how they create their own and upload it. With this, there will be many legal and ethical considerations I will need to consider when building and designing the app.  1. Legal regulatory issues My product will feature a sharing system which would allow users to upload their own music to the app for other users to find. This will work similar to sound-cloud in which users can upload files to their profile which can then be listened to by other users. However, this can result in many different legal issues that could effect me and other users. We will have to enforce a copyright or flagging system that will takedown any copyrighted or unsafe content on the app. This will stop people from uploading content that may be against our user guidelines and make the experience safer for artists and us...

Lo2 report: Be able to research the development of digital media technologies to support the planning of a new product

The introduction of globalisation and new technologies has evolved the market place so that media companies have to use more below the line marketing methods to ensure they reach their target audience. They use Web 3.0 and semantic web technologies to recommend and market products that you may seem intere sted in. They achieve this through tracking your data and recognising your interests so that they can be marketed to you using a machine algorithm.  Examples include Facebook, Google, and Youtube.  One of the key benefits of the semantic web is having  large amounts of data, knowledge and information made understandable and accessible to machines . A Web 3.0 environment  enhances the user experience by providing rich and interactive advertising opportunities . This is a boon for marketers because they can now deliver more targeted ads to consumers. With Web 3, marketers will be able to provide a more efficient strategy and advertise their products. Also, due to cont...
